Obituary

John Thomas "Jack" Kutsch, Sr., 66, Dade City, FL, went to heaven on Thursday, October 29, 2015. Jack was born February 18, 1949, and raised in Tarentum, PA, a small coal mining town. He served in the U.S. Navy. Returning from duty, he married his high school sweetheart, Elizabeth, in 1975. They soon moved to Dade City, where they lived on Abbey Drive and raised their family. Jack was the proprietor of Jacks A/C & Heating, a business that grew to one of the largest in East Pasco County. He treated his customers like family and would always go above and beyond for them. Jack had a love of motorcycles, especially his Goldwing. He treasured his many rides with Liz, and best friend Malcom Campbell, and the many adventures and charity rides with his friends from the Southern Cruisers Riding Club of Florida, Chapter 55. When, not riding a motorcycle, Jack was riding a tractor around the backyard with his grandchildren, whom he loved so very much, on board. Jack was a member of St. Rita Catholic Church. He served on the parish council and was a Eucharistic Minister. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He served his community by often preparing meals for the Love One Another organization. Jack was pre-deceased by his parents, Richard John and Genevieve Young Kutsch. He is survived by his loving wife Elizabeth (Elavski) Kutsch, daughter Kimberly (Michael) Higgins, Dade City, and John (Laurel Haire), St. Augustine. Four beautiful grandchildren were the light of his life: Maggie and Sam Higgins and Olivia and Owen Kutsch adored their "Pap Pap". Jack was the youngest of six siblings: Richard (Colleen), Judith Gore (Dan), Sandi Adamski (Ron), Mary Louise Nesteruk (Paul), Christine Kutsch, and Jerry (Deceased). He cherished them and his many cousins, nieces and nephews. His annual family reunion was always a special occasion. Visitation will be held Monday, November 2, from 7- 9 p.m., at St. Rita Catholic Church located at 14404 14th Street, Dade City. Praying of the Rosary will be at 8:00 p.m. On Tuesday, November 3, a Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. Jack was honored that his final resting place will be there. A Celebration of Life reception will follow at 1:30 p.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Vincent De Paul Society of St. Rita Catholic Church, or a Holy Mass Intention in Jacks honor. The family would like to thank Dr. Paul Chakola, Dr. Larry Gandle, Dr. Sunil Gupta, Dr. Ahmad Hamzah, Dr. Joseph Hubaykah, Dr. Richard McDonough, and their staff, and the wonderful nurses at Bayfront Hospital, Dade City.
