John Joseph Koelndorfer passed peacefully on Friday,

February 14, 2025, at Gulf Shores Hospice, in

Zephyrhills, Florida.

Born to Nicholas and Rosalie Koelndorfer on April 26th,

1945, John grew up in the suburbs of South Bend,

Indiana. He played basketball in high school and went

on to play at the college level for Western Kentucky

while working to achieve a mathematics degree. Early in

his career, he worked as a claims adjuster before going

on to work at Jordan-Ford-Toyota for approximately 20

years and retiring in 2009. He enjoyed golfing and

playing in the local softball leagues, as well as getting

together with friends and family for weekly card games

In 2011, John and his wife Linda moved to Zephyrhills

Florida, to enjoy their retirement.

John is survived by his wife, Linda, his sister Mary

Catherine (Carl) Fisher, his daughter Laura (Jim)

Peterson, his son Nick (Christy) Koelndorfer, his

grandchildren Josh and Nate (Danielle) _Wilson, Isaiah

(Beth) Peterson, Orion and Caloi Koelndorfer and his

great grandson Henry Wilson

A loving husband, father, and grandfather who will be

greatly missed by all.
