John Kean, 72, passed away Saturday October 7th at his home surrounded by loved ones after a long battle with cancer. Johns long career was in the clothing industry before he became a handyman after retirement. He was a volunteer firefighter for many years in his home town of Port Jervis NY, also here for Pasco County Fire/Recuse Volunteers until his passing. John was beloved by all who knew him and will be dearly missed. John is survived by his wife Carolyn & their beloved Dog Ladybug, son Donald & wife Tammy & their children, Hugh, Ramon, Erica & daughter Karen & her children Jacob, Kennedy, stepdaughter Jennifer & husband Richard, & their children Kyle, Cheyenne, stepson James & wife Debbie, & their children James W. III, Isabella & Montana, along with 5 greatgrandchildren. His brothers & wifes, Bernie, Frank, Carry, Kevin& sister Kathy & husband, along with many beloved nephews and nieces. Memorial services will be held at Hodges Family Funeral Home 11441 US HIGHWAY 301 Dade City, FL 33525 on, Friday Oct. 13th at 11am with a celebration of life reception at the Abby at St. Leo
