John H Johnson was the very definition of a family man, he was humble and full of love, strength and encouragement. He was a loving Husband, Father, Pop Pop and Friend. He left this world suddenly on September 11, 2023 at the age of 84. John was the only child of Henry Johnson and Teckla Johnson born on April 20,1939 in Brooklyn, New York. John had a lifelong love of Baseball, it was his favorite activity to do with friends. John was also passionate about Bowling and even met the love of his life (Kathy) at the bowling alley in 1971. After Marrying Kathy November 13,1971 they grew their family and had Tracy (May 6,1973) and Kelly (March 6,1976). John was part of the Auxiliary Police Department while in New York. John and his family moved to Florida in 1979 and started his career at Lykes Pasco. He spent a lot of time at high school football games with the girls and traveling with the band with Tracy. John was an active member of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church. John loved spending his time at sports games supporting Tampa Bay including Bucs games,Lightning games and Rays games. John is survived by his wife Kathy Johnson, his daughters Tracy Joslin (Johnny) and Kelly Hewitt (Sam), Sister in laws Linda Reichert , Lori Jump, and Helen Fields (Farley), Brother in law Tom Reilly(Dorris) Grandchildren Damien, Makayla, Meaghan, Brooke, Shelbie, Caleb and Noah and numerous nieces and nephews.
