John Joseph Harchut won his battle with Alzheimers on Jan 20, 2015. After God blessing us with his presence for the past 80 years, John was called home to his place at the feet of our Lord where he is once again free from defect and shrouded in love. He is being reunited with his parents Mary Harchut Homza and John Harchut and his sisters Jeanette Jover, Irene Hemmock, Eleanor Harchut and Kathryn Harchut. He is survived by his wife, Marie Danielewicz Harchut, his sister MaryAnn Evans and his children Mary (John deceased) Macaulay, Denise (Kevin) McGuire, Kathleen (Jeff) Breen, John Harchut, James (Cyndi) Harchut, Sherri (Ken) Cheline, and Joseph (Margaret) Harchut as well as his 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Son of John and Mary, John hailed from Blakeley, Pennsylvania where he met and married his bride of 60 years. After completing a 50 year career as a Tile Contractor he spent his final years traveling, enjoying his family, and retirement. He always gave of himself in everything he did from bringing a smile to his familys faces to his devotion to the Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. After making his way across this great nation and back again, he devoted his final years to his wife and Sacred Heart Church in San Antonio, Florida. We rejoice in our memories and await the day we will see him once again. He has always been example to his friends and family and the world is just a little less bright without him. We love you husband, father, brother, son, dziadiu, and pradziadiu. May Gods peace and love keep you forever. Until we meet again. Johns family will receive friends Monday evening, Jan 26, 2015 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, with a rosary service taking place at 7:30 pm, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will take on Tuesday, Jan 27, 2015 at 10:00 am also at the church. John will be laid to rest at Sacred Heart Cemetery. In lieu of flowers Johns family have asked that donations be made to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Building Fund.
