John Coleman Hadley (J.C.) born on August 30, 1936 in Gulf Hammock, Florida, passed away March 31, 2015 at 4:20 P.M. in Dade City, Florida; where he met his Mother Ethel Mae Colson, and Father Clifford Hadley in heaven. With his passing he left behind his wife of 18 years Laura Gail Hadley of Dade City, Florida, his son Michael J. Hadley, his wife Katherine, and two grand-children: Latayjah and Michael John Hadley all of Lakeland, Florida, and three stepchildren: Susie Mae, Carolton and Alfred all from Dade City, Florida. His stepmother Frances G. Hadley, one brother Michael Hadley (Susan), eight sisters: Tammy Hadley, Theresa Glover Hadley (Eddie), Terresa Hadley, Frances L. Hadley, Paula Hardee (Emanuel), Ester Hadley Plettis (Ike), Thelma Hampton, Bernice George, and a host of nieces and nephews all from Lakeland, Florida. J.C. has been a long time resident of Dade City where he started driving a semi-truck that lasted 32 years, and many, many miles. He has traveled all over of the United States and Canada. He was a very kind man who never spoke badly of anyone, and loved taking care of his wife. He will be greatly missed. A memorial service is being held in his honor 4pm Saturday, April 11, 2015 at the 5th Street Chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home, visitation starting at 3:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
