Duggan, John James, 80, of Saint Joseph Fl., went home to be with the Lord at 7 pm on December 12, 2012, his wife of 56 years and five daughters were by his side. John was a 1950 graduate of Pasco High School and served 12 years in the Army reserve. He was a lifetime parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Saint Joseph, Fl. where he along with his wife started the CYO in 1972, out of which the Everlasting Love Folk Choir was formed by his daughters. Two of which are still actively involved in the music and youth ministries at this parish and the other three are active in the ministries of their churches. John is survived by his wife Shirley Ann Duggan, his brother Dan Duggan also of Saint Joseph Florida; 5 daughters, Janet (Dan) Currier, Wendy (Dan) Pettit, Donna (Pat) Barthle, Carleen (Randy) Jolly and Annette (Mark) Floyd; 12 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren. Visitation will take place at 3:00 pm on Friday, December 14, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in St. Joseph, Fl., followed by a rosary service at 5:00 pm. The funeral mass will be the next morning December 15,at 11:30 am. A reception will be held at the church immediately following the burial service.
