Cocke, John H. 85 of Wesley Chapel, FL passed away Thursday, October 22, 2015 at his home. He was born January 18, 1930 in Clarksville, TN to John H. & Mary Katherine Trotter Cocke and moved to the Saddlebrook Resort 35 years ago as a winter resident. John owned and operated numerous Tool & Die Companies in the Detroit area. He was a member of the Newburg United Methodist Church in Livonia, MI, a 50-year member of the Clarksville Masonic Lodges and a U.S. Navy Veteran. He was an accomplished pilot and an avid golfer. John is survived by his wife of 65 years: Frances Cocke; 2 daughters: Deborah Lewis (Karl), Chicago, IL, Karen Schiffman (Joe), Livonia, MI; daughter-in-law Judy Cocke, West Bloomfield, MI; 7 grandchildren: Mychal & Elana Cocke, Kyle & Ryan Lewis, Andy, Tommy & Bobby Schiffman. He was preceded in death by his son: Larry Stephen Cocke. The family will receive friends from 3:30pm to 4:30pm Sunday, October 25, 2015 at the Tropics Restaurant Terrace in the Saddlebrook Resort where a memorial service will take place at 4:30pm.
