John Sidney Chumas 81, of Dade City, FL passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2018. He was born March 30, 1937 in Kalamazoo, MI to Gus John & Naomi Ann Pollock Chumas and moved to this area 3 months ago from Myrtle Beach, SC. He was a retired Security Guard and a U.S. Army Veteran. He was a member of the VFW and the American Legion. John is survived by his wife: Patricia Chumas; 4 children: John & Marcia Chumas II, Marcia Chumas, Michael Chumas, Sean & Kenita Chumas; 1 sister: Carol Liepzig; 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandsons. In lieu of flowers, family request donations in his memory to Breast Cancer Research or the VA.
