John (Jack) Cahalin, 77, of Zephyrhills passed away January 21, 2013 at Gulfside Hospice. He was born September 26, 1935 in Bronx, NY. In 1955 he joined the United States Army. He worked in Madison Square Gardens for the first part of his life and retired from the US Post Office in Irvington, NY. From 1971-1986 he lived in England. He was preceded in death by his infant daughter and wife, Joyce who passed in 1999. Survivors include beloved wife, Shirley Crawford of Zephyrhills; daughters, Valerie Cahalin, Claire (Derek ) Prime of Mass; son, Christopher Cahalin; grandchildren, Chelsea Cahalin, Dylan and Ian Prime; sister Mary Cahalin all of New York. A Memorial Service will be conducted 11 Am February 5th at the Elks Lodge , 6851 Wire Road, Zephyrhills. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Gulfside Regional Hospice.
