Buelk, John C., 78, of San Antonio died on Saturday, Nov 22, 2014 at his residence. He was born in Detroit, MI to Emil & Teresa Krey Buelk. John retired in 1976 as a sergeant with the Detroit police department. In 1981 John & Eva moved to Tampa where he worked with the Hillsborough County Tax Collectors Office until retiring in 1998. In 1999 they moved to San Antonio, living at Tampa Bay Golf & Country Club where he enjoyed the fellowship of his many golfing friends and was an avid card player. He was member of Saint Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Hudson. John is survived by his wife of 58 years Eva of San Antonio, Son John II (Barbe) Grandson John III (Cinnamon) Great Grandchildren Maxwell Grandson Sam (Amanda), Great Granddaughter Juniper all of South Carolina; Son Dan (Cil), Grandson Nick (Julie), Granddaughter Christina, Great Granddaughter Brittany all of Virginia; Daughter Therese (Marc) Hulme and Grandson Mike all of Wesley Chapel; Daughter Laura (Bob) Wells Grandchildren Joshua (June) and Jackie Lee all of Tallahassee; Son Dave (Christina) Grandsons Zachary & Ryan all of Wesley Chapel; Son Vince (Carola) Grandchildren Vinny, Conner & Collin all of Colorado; Sister Joan Bracy of Michigan and Brother Dennis Buelk of Florida. Johns family will receive friends Friday, Nov. 28, 2014 from 10:00am until service time 11:00 am, when a Mass of Christian burial will take place at the St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, San Antonio. John will be laid to rest at St. Anthony Cemetery.
