John W. (Bill) Ashmore 70, of Zephyrhills, FL passed away Tuesday, September 29th, 2020. He was born June 12, 1950 in Tampa, FL to John and Violet Ashmore. He retired from the International Union of Operating Engineers as a crane / heavy equipment operator and was a member of Zephyrhills First Assembly of God Church, co-watcher of Door #7.

Bill is survived by his son and daughter in law, Bill Jr. & Susan Ashmore, Fran Jones, the mother of their son, a grandson, John Ashmore III, brothers and sisters: Sylvia Tadlock, Cathy Brown, Donald Ashmore (Ruthie), and Walter Ashmore. Also, survived by his step children, Stormie Damer, James Berry, Jessica Berry, and Jason Radney (Lorena), and is lovingly remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Bill wished to forgo any funeral or services, and will be cremated by Hodges Family Funeral Home, Dade City, FL. In lieu of flowers, we are asking that donations be made to Rucki Hospice Care Center, 5760 Dean Dairy Rd. Zephyrhills, FL 33541, who lovingly took care of him in his final days.
