SMITH, John A. "Sonny", age 77, of Bushnell, FL passed away and got his row in Heaven on November 24, 2019. He was born on August 6, 1942 in Georgiana, AL to parents John Ingram Smith & Goldia Irene (Miniard) Smith.John was kind hearted, loving, and never one to complain. He never met a stranger in his life and loved to be around most of his family, always smiling, dancing, and joking around. He spent many years working as an owner and operator as an over the road truck driver. John is survived by his wife Julia Smith; four children: Marty Smith (Debbie), Byron Smith (Alexis), Clayton "Gator" Smith (Traci), and Delilah Smith Jackson (John); along with two of Julia's children that loved Sonny dearly as a father, Harvey Thompson (Sheri) and Ruthie "Suzanne"; five grandchildren; and sixteen great-grandchildren. Everyone who knew him loved him very much and he will be truly missed.
