Joel F. Boring, age 70, of Zephyrhills passed away Saturday, June 19, 2021. Joel was born in Miami, FL on May 31, 1951, to parents Earl and Peggy (Repine) Boring who proceeded him in death. Survivors include his two daughters, Karen and Kelly, his brothers James and Bruce, his sister Viola, his cousins Jay and Paula, his nieces Kiki, Melanie and Jessica and his nephews Jon and Doug along with his 9 grandchildren. Joel was employed as a Draftsman for Fire Protection for most of his career. However, he enjoyed later occupations as a FedEx driver and Security guard. Joel had many interests. He had a passion for fishing and enjoyed time in the Florida Keys with his family. He loved football games, poker games, cookouts and get togethers. He played softball and volleyball recreationally. He invested his time in the community becoming a coach and then umpire for girls softball. Joel was a husband, father, son, brother, sports enthusiast, magician, fisherman, and weatherman. He was always the life of the party and created many happy memories. He befriended countless people including the nurses and staff who cared for him at Westbrook Gardens the last three years of his life.
