Haymons, Joe Henry, 71 of San Antonio, FL passed away Sunday, January 1, 2012 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born August 23, 1940 in Alston, GA and was a longtime area resident. He was a retired Msgt after 20 years with the U.S. Air Force. He worked on private planes and also worked for the Pasco County Waste & Resource Recovery Department. He was a Baptist and had attended the Fort Dade Baptist Church in Dade City. He was preceded in death by his loving wife: Mary Louise Gaskin Haymons; grandson: Kevin Mitchell Pringle; parents: Jessie Cleveland & Lena Gladys Haymons, brother: Herbert C. Pete Haymons; sister: Sarah K. Haymons Johnson, son-in-law: Steven Mitchell Pringle. He is survived by 3 children: Debbie Haymons, Zephyrhills, FL, Charles Wayne Haymons, San Antonio, FL, Sheila Buie (Mike Russ), Dade City, FL; son-in-law: Gerald Wayne Buie II (Cindy Jensen and her son Josh Jensen); grandchildren: Sara Louise Buie, Hailey Abigail Haymons, Jeffrey Alan Pringle, Charles Eugene Strange (Kaleena Runge Strange) and many nieces, nephews and extended family. Funeral services will be held 11am Thursday, January 5, 2012 at the 301 Chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Williams Cemetery. The family will receive friends for viewing from 5-7pm Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
