Obituary JoAnn Plummer

JoAnn Selvage-Plummer, 87, passed away on Jan 9th, 2023, in Dade City, Florida. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Plummer. She is survived by her 4 children, the twins - Peggy (Richard) Robinson and Cindy (Robert) Wren, who gave so much in their care of their mother, Michael Plummer, and Connie (Robert) Reddit. She also has one granddaughter, Leah (Charles) Robinson-Silveria, and 4 great-grandchildren, John, Anastasia, Jasmine, and Robert Silveria. She is also survived by two of her 12 siblings, Jack Selvage and Faye Porter.

JoAnn was born in Huntington, West Virginia, on Sept 17, 1935. As a teenager, she moved to Waverly Ohio, where she graduated, then moved to Columbus Ohio as a young adult, with several of her sisters. She has always been busy as one of Jehovahs Witnesses, and served in the role of a "Pioneer" with expanded ministry in the early 1950s, until she met and married Paul on Dec 29, 1955.

JoAnn loved her family dearly and found true joy in her granddaughter and great-grandchildren. She always wanted the family to be with her and enjoyed the laughter of everyone. She cherished her time in the worship of Jehovah God and she loved Jehovahs organization along with the fellowship of the friends in the congregation as well. She provided a wonderful example of hospitality, and caregiving for her family.

She had a future hope and assurance of the resurrection based on Acts 24:15. She also found great comfort in Revelation 21:4, which speaks of the time when God will "wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more.". She will always be remembered by her family, friends, and most importantly, by Jehovah God.

A memorial service will be held on Jan 29, 2023, at 4:30 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses, 34938 Chancey Rd, Zephyrhills, FL 33541. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Worldwide Work of Jehovahs Witnesses at www.donate.JW.org .
