JoAnn Betty Lester "Dolly"

After a valiant battle with cancer Dolly (JoAnn Betty) Lester died on November 15, 2017 at her home in Zephyrhills, Florida, surrounded by the love of her husband and daughter. Dolly was born on January 12, 1945 to the late Harold and Agnes Deuel. Dolly is survived by her loving husband of 52 years Gary A. Lester, daughter Shelley Lester of Spencer N. Y., son and daughter in law Darrin and Deborah Lester of Lyons, N.Y. Grandsons, Jared (Danielle) Ward of Pultney, N.Y., Hayden Lester of Lyons, NY and Elijah Weaver of Spencer, N.Y., granddaughters; Hannah Lester, Lyons NY and Ella Lester of Lyons, N.Y. and Great Granddaughter Emily Jeanne Ward of Pultney, N.Y.

Dolly is also survived by her sisters; Norma Blankenburg, Orange Park, Florida, Helen Russell, Zephyrhills Florida and Sheri McCarty of Spencer, N.Y. Brother in law Bruce (Pat) Lester, Oswego, N.Y., sisters in law Patricia Fisher of Fremont, Michigan, Linda Tuffy of Lyons, N.Y. , Alice ( Armando) Crespo, Judy (Robert) Cook of Hudson Falls, N.Y. She was a loving Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Dolly was predeceased by her parents, her brother Robert (Shirley) Deuel and sister Mary Deuel, as well as brother in laws Robert (Norma) Blankenburg, Hulon Lester, Rodney Lester, Mutt (Pat) Fisher, Richard (Linda) Tuffy. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

A memorial service will take place on Saturday, December 2nd at 2:30 PM at the Emmanuel Methodist Church, 301 E. Miller Street, Newark, N.Y. Dollys family will be receiving guests prior to the service at the church at 1:00 PM.
