Joan Y. Tedesco, age 85, of San Antonio, FL, formerly of Erie, PA, passed away peacefully at home Saturday, November 7, 2015. She was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, John Tedesco; 5 children and their spouses, Joanie and Stuart Salchli of Erie, PA, Janice and Dominic Gangemi of Erie, PA, Jeanine and Gary Krugger of Edinboro, PA, Dr. John and Alonna Tedesco of Dade City, FL, and Dr. Joseph and Billie Tedesco of Kingman, AZ; 18 grandchildren; 14 great grand children and one on the way. She graduated as valedictorian from her high school in 1947, and worked for many years as an executive secretary until her retirement from the Erie Redevelopment Authority in 1984. There will be a 1:00 pm gravesite ceremony for family and close friends in Bushnell, FL at Florida National Cemetery.
