Joan Kathryn Green Grissom passed away peacefully at Gulfside Hospice in Zephyrhills, FL on Oct. 28th, 2016. Joan was born on February 16, 1924 in Antigo, WI to Erving and Blanche Green. She was a 1942 graduate of Antigo High School.

Joan worked as a shoe model for several years. She also was a familiar face at Greens Pharmacy in Appleton, WI where she worked from 1964 to 1980 as a cosmetic sales person and bookkeeper.

Joan moved to Zephyrhills, Florida in 1990 where she became an active member of the community. She was an avid golfer, bridge player, and bingo player. She also enjoyed gambling road trips to Biloxi, MS.

Joan was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister Barbara Green. She is survived by her brother James Green (Appleton, WI),sisters Loraine Servi (Antigo, WI), and Gail (Gerald) Henke (Cedarburg, WI) She is also survived by nephews: Michael, Patrick, Robert, and Thomas Green, David Sims, Mark and James Henke and niece Jean Marie Henke.

Her last words were to let her family know how much she loved all of them.
