Joan Marie Dittami of Zephyrhills, Florida, formerly of Bellingham, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at the age of 86. Born in Framingham, Massachusetts, on December 21, 1938, Joan lived a life full of love, laughter, and devoted service to others.

Joan was predeceased by her parents, Catherine and Arthur Raymond, as well as her beloved brothers, Gerald and Paul Raymond. She was a graduate of Dean Jr. College, which paved her way to a meaningful career as a youth counselor. Joan had a profound impact on the lives of many young people, offering guidance, support, and kindness.

A passionate dancer and enthusiastic traveler, Joan was known for her zest for life and her generous spirit. Her love for dancing was as infectious as her sense of humor, which brought joy and laughter to everyone around her.

Joan was the proud and loving mother of five children: Maryanne Watson of Fall River, MA; Mark Dittami of Bowers Beach, DE; Anthony Dittami of California, MD; Theresa Barrows of Milford, MA; and Randy Dittami of Fort Lauderdale, FL. Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren: Leah Norman of MA, Christina Doll of MD, Amanda Dittami of MO, Hillary Dittami of MD, Dean Dittami of DE, Dinah Dittami of DE, Beau Barrows of MA, Luke Barrows of MA, Karli "Cole" Watson of MA, Tom Watson of TX, and Brynn Barrows of MA; and her 4 great grandchildren each of whom carries forward her loving spirit and warmth.

Joan's nurturing nature, combined with her sense of humor, made her a friend to many and a beloved figure in her community. Her achievements in life go beyond her professional endeavors, as her greatest accomplishment was her family. Joan's children and grandchildren remain the living testament to her values of kindness, love, and resilience.

Joan, who touched the hearts of all who knew her, will be deeply missed, but her spirit will continue to inspire those she left behind.
