Jo Elizabeth (Norman) Mosley, 76, died Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. Jo was a kind, giving woman with a heart full of unconditional love. She cherished those she loved and her family above all else. Her faith in Jesus was her rock, sustaining her.
Jo was born February 27, 1949, in Maury County, Tennessee, the daughter of the late William Marcus and Dalsie M. (Mills) Byrd. From the age of seven (7), she was the cherished daughter of the late Charles W. Norman, her stepfather. He was her dad.
Jo was a resident of Dade City since 1964 and a graduate of Pasco High School. She married C. Michael "Mike" Mosley on November 8, 1972. Mike passed away on January 31, 2019.
Jo is survived by her loving partner, Johnny W. Mosley, with whom she shared her later years. Both having experienced the loss of a spouse, they took care of one another and built a strong, loving bond.
Jo is also survived by her three children, Michael L. (Tiffany) Mosley, Spring Hill, FL; Mary Anne (Frank) Pandolfo, Apollo Beach, FL; and Charles C. Mosley, Zephyrhills, FL; and three grandchildren, Michael B. Mosley, Brooksville, FL; Makayla L. Mosley, St. Petersburg, FL and Noah L. Mosley, Spring Hill, FL.
Preceding her in death was her sister, Jacquelyn K. (James) Bullard of Adel, Georgia. She is survived by her sisters, T. Jennene (John) Norman-Vacha, Brooksville, FL, and Janice M. Norman, Zephyrhills, FL; and her brother, John L. Norman, Nashville, TN.
Graveside services will take place at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 3, 2025, at Floral Memory Gardens Cemetery, Dade City, with Pastor C. David Hope officiating.
