Obituary

Jimmy Ray Willhoit Jr 63, of Zephyrhills Florida unexpectedly passed away on October 1, 2024. His sudden departure comes as a shock, leaving us with great sorrow and a deep wound that is being felt by his entire family and all those who loved him.

Jimmy was born on May 17, 1961 in Baltimore Maryland where he grew up and lived until moving to Florida in 1997.

Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents Jimmy Ray Willhoit Sr and Betty Jane Willhoit. He is survived by his daughters Mandy (Jimmy) Lee and Kandra Kaminsky. Sister Loretta (Jack) Sayers and brother Dean Clark along with nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Throughout his life, Jimmy was referred to in many ways, he was a son, a father, a brother, an uncle, a cousin and most importantly he was a friend. Jimmy was a wonderful person inside and out who never met a stranger, always looking for adventure and always on the go; Jimmy had a humorous personality which could always light up a room and make everyone laugh, he was one with a huge heart, caring and compassionate strong-willed with a stubborn side that liked to live life a little on the wild side, those were the traits that defined him and were part of the reason why he is loved by so many.

In his spare time, you could often find him shinning up his truck or his motorcycle or playing his guitar or drums making some sort of joke about how he was gonna be the backup drummer for Led Zeppelin or some old rock and roll band. Jimmy's fun-spirited soul loved music!

Family and friends will be gathering for a celebration of life to honor him. His family hopes that he is riding his dream Harley through the golden gates of heaven.

Jimmy will forever be loved and missed and remembered by the many lives that he touched.

"Seeing death as the end of life is like seeing the horizon as the end of the ocean" ...... Until we meet again.
