Jimmy Velez Rivera, passed away unexpectedly in Southbend, Indiana on August 19, 2020 at the age of 35. Jimmy is preceded in death his grandmother Santa Nelida Velez as well as his grandparents Robert Cruz Rivera and Esther Atkinson Rivera. Jimmy is survived by his loving parents Jimmy & Sandra Rivera, his siblings Ruben Rivera (Megan)Jose Velez, Danielle Alvardo and Joshua Rivera (Adriana). Jimmy has several uncles and aunts and cousins and many others that loved him dearly as well. Miguel & Trini Velez, Michael & Mildred Colburn, Angel & Miriam Garcia, Ruben & Ruth Rivera, Hector & Adrienne Rivera, Robert Rivera, Daniel Rivera, Henry Rivera, Rosita Rivera and Esther Rivera. Jimmy is survived by his children: Bryan J. Rivera, Elizabeth N, Rivera, Jordynn I Rivera, Jailynn Nelida Rivera, and Jemina Rivera. He was loved by several cousins, Macho, Nana, April, Pelon, Joey, Nicky, Chuky ,Chente, Jessica, Mathew, Erica, Robby, Sabrina, Sarai, Andres, Franky, and several more cousins too many to name. Jimmy was loved by all his friends and yes he had many, many friends. I want to thank you dearly on behave of all of our family and you each know who you are who was always there when he needed a friend. Funeral service will be held at Hodges Family Funeral Home in Dade City on September 13, 2020. Will receive family and friends from 2- 4 pm. Celebration of Life for Jimito will be held at his parents' house after the service.
