Jewell Register Hattaway 84, of Dade City, FL passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2016 in Zephyrhills under the care of Gulfside Center for Hospice Care. She was born December 9, 1931 in Macclenny, Florida to James & Alma Stone Register and was a longtime resident of the Dade City area. Jewell owned and operated Bonita Flower Shop since 1969 and was a fixture of the downtown area. She is survived by her husband of 63 years: Billy Ray Hattaway; daughter: Lisa Medley; son: Richard Harlow Hattaway; 2 granddaughters: Ashley Demaree, Keaton Hobbs; 2 great granddaughters: Landry 3 siblings: Ophelia Williams, Paul Register, Richard Register; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. Friends are invited to A Celebration of Jewell's Life from 3-5pm, Sunday, February 28, 2016 at the Dade City Garden Club.
