Jewel A. Lay 87, of Dade City, FL passed away Saturday, September 25th, 2021. He was born June 24, 1934 in Dade City, FL, he was a lifelong area resident and a U.S. Army Veteran. He retired from CF Industries after 23 years and owned and operated Lazy Lay Acres.

Jewel is survived by 2 children: Leslee Rose and Jewel Clayton Lay; 1 granddaughter Jessica Hancock, and 1 great-granddaughter Xaviana Clark. He was preceded in death by his wife Rita G. Lay and daughter Kippi Clark.

Memorial Services will be held 6pm Friday, October 1st, 2021 at the 301 Chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
