Jerry “Harold” Moates Sr., 87, went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on February 18, 2026. He was born in Lyn Haven, Florida to parents, Tessie Thurman and Barney Moates. Harold proudly enlisted in the Air Force at 17 years old, where he went on to become a Crypto Operator/Code Breaker while in the Air Force. Harold is survived by his children, Jerry H. Moates Jr., Sondra “Cindy” Germond and Rhonda Moates Millstead, along with 3 grand children and 6 great grandchildren. Graveside service will take place 2 PM March 10, 2026 at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Ave Bushnell, Fl 33513. In lieu of Flowers donations may be made to his favorite charity, Wounded Warriors.
