Jerry Duane Smith,74, passed away on May 10, 2019. He was born to Willard and Ruth Smith on June 27, 1944 in Long Beach, California. Jerry served in the United States Navy and served two tours in Vietnam. He worked as a property appraiser in Pasco county for 18 years and in construction contractor sales and was construction superintendent for 16 years. Jerry was a member of the Dade City Kiwanis Club, past board member of the Pasco County Fair Association and a member of the American Legion post 15. Jerry is survived by Delores; one son: Scott; three brothers: Ronald (Esther), Raymond (Melinda), Eugene (Phyllis): and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on May 14 at Hodges Family Funeral Home Hwy 301. A service will be held on May 15 at 11 am with a burial following at Floral Memory Gardens.
