Jerry Lamar Burk, age 63, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2026, in Dade City, Florida. He was born on October 20, 1962, in Kenosha, Wisconsin, to Leroy and Rhomelle Burk. When Jerry was just three months old, his family returned to Florida, where he was raised and spent most of his life. He was of the Pentecostal faith and cherished the values of faith, family, and community.

Jerry is survived by his beloved wife of 37 years, Stella "Rosie" Burk; his daughter, Brandie Burk of Pensacola, Florida; and his stepchildren, Johnny Batten (Autumn) of Brooksville, Florida, Sharon Fredrickson of Brooksville, Florida, Daniel Batten (Connie) of Brooksville, Florida, and April Griffith (Chris) of Winder, Georgia.

He is also survived by his brothers, Roy Burk of Zephyrhills, Florida, and David Burk (Linda) of Brooksville, Florida; his sisters, Pearlie Janke (Roy I) of Zephyrhills, Florida, and Barbara Allison of Dade City, Florida; 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many dear friends who will miss him greatly.

Jerry will be remembered for the love he shared with his family, the friendships he built throughout his life, and the lasting impact he made on those who knew him. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Hodges Family Funeral Home 11441 US Hwy 301 Dade City, Florida 33525
