Jerry L. Boyt 79, of Zephyrhills, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 24th. He was born on December 29, 1941 in Georgia to Bennie and Minnie Lee Boyt. His family moved to Florida when all 3 siblings were still youngsters. He graduated from Pasco High in 1960 and was a proud Pasco Pirate football player. Jerry worked for the Florida State Road Department and later became self-employed with rental properties and a chicken farm. Jerry is predeceased by his Parents, brother: John Alton Boyt, sister: Patricia Boyt Bryant, Granddaughter: Megan Borrelli, and son-in-law: Robert Borrelli. He is survived by his son: James Alvin Boyt, daughter: Teresa Boyt Borrelli, grandchildren: Dustin L. Boyt, Daniel Kolaric (Haley) and Kara Boyt, great grandson: Topher, significant other: Debbie and many nieces and nephews. A service Celebrating his Life will be held at 10am on Saturday, January 30th at Hodges Family Funeral Home 11441 Hwy 301 Dade City, Fl 33525. The family will receive friends for viewing from 6:30-8pm Friday, January 29th at the same location. Flowers will greatly be accepted or for those that wish they may make a donation in Jerrys name to the Lewy Body Dementia Association at https://www.lbda.org/donate/ CDC Guidelines must be followed and masks are mandatory for those wishing to attend.
