Jerome Charles "Jerry" Greif 75, of San Antonio, FL passed away Monday, January 31st, 2022. He was born September 14, 1946, in Dade City, FL to John A. & Catherine Collins Greif and remained a lifelong area resident. He was retired from Hernando County as the Chief County Planner, was an active member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church and was the recipient of the St. Jude the Apostle Medal from the Diocese of St. Petersburg. He served as Secretary for the San Antonio Citizens Federal Credit Union, served on the City of San Antonio Board of Adjustments, the V.F.W. and the King Lake Fishing Club. Jerry is survived by his wife Lynn A. Hayward, daughter: Jenifer & Stephen Grant; brother: James & Diana Greif; sister: Virginia Greif McKendree; 3 granddaughters: Alexis Grant, Ava Grant, Alyssa Grant; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to your local Animal Charity or Rescue Facility.
