SCOTT, Jennie Marie, age 85, of Riverview, FL, passed away on January 15, 2023. She was born in Miamisburg, OH on December 27, 1937 to parents Victor E. Hill & Charlotte M. (McNabb). She worked for many years as a nurse aid and enjoyed painting and making jewelry in her spare time. She could do anything she set her mind to and considered raising six boys one of her greatest achievements. Jennie was preceded in death by: her husband, George L. Scott Sr., who passed away on March 23, 1984; one young son, Steven Ray; one young great-grandson, Samuel Scott, who passed away on December 27, 2013; two brothers: LeRoy Hill and Allen Hill; and two sisters: Ruth and Kathy. Loving survivors include six sons: George L. Scott Jr. (Peggy), Thomas W. Scott (Gloria Kay), Nathan V. Scott, Daniel L. Scott (Linda), John A. Scott, and Timothy Scott; eight grandchildren: George III, Becky, Jennifer, Christopher, Triston, Lisa, Deanne, and Joseph; six great-grandchildren: Peter, Jacob, Kaelyn, Joe Jr., Clarabelle, and Sarah; one brother, Glen Hill; and dear friends, Barbara Jean Smith & Joanne.A funeral service officiated by Pastor Byron Hendry will be held at 1pm on Monday, January 23, 2023 at Hodges Family Funeral Home in Dade City, FL. The family will receive friends for visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Gardens.
