Jeffrey "Jeff" Dewey Gay, 62 of Statesboro, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2025.

Jeff was born on June 2, 1963 in Taiwan, China to the late Dewey Jefferson Gay and Fannie Marie Bruce. He was a proud veteran that served 4 years in the Marine Corps. He worked as a professional driver with Oakley Transport for 9 years. Jeff's greatest treasures were his wife, kids & extended family and becoming a Pawpaw/Papa Jeff. He loved driving his Jeep, Gator football, riding his Harley & spending time with his grand babies who all adored him.

He was preceded in death by his parents Dewey Jefferson Gay and Fannie Marie Bruce; his late wife, Pamela Nichols Gay (d. 2011).

Survivors include his loving wife of 6 years Jennifer (Jackson), children; Dustin (Tiffany) Gay, Ty (Savana) Gay and Tess Gay (Daevonne), stepchildren; Michael Wilson and Makayla (Cory) Bahr, Grandchildren; Joanna Gay, Fletcher Bahr, Easton Wilson, Amiyah Dyson, Walker Bahr, and Moriah Gay; and sister Cynthia McMurtry.

Services will be held at Calvary Assembly of God on November 29, 2025. Visitation from 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Service at 11 a.m. Fellowship will follow at the church.
