Jefferson Greenberry Harvey Jr. was born on December 8. 1932 in Lakeland, Florida. He was called home to be the Lord on February 13. 2023 at his home in Land O Lakes, Florida

Jeff served for 20 years as an Air Traffic Controller and retired as a Master Sergeant. After USAF retirement he became a State Park Ranger at Cheraw and Santee state parks. He and his brother Lawrence Harvey worked together at the Lakeland Ledger and eventually bought and operated a couple of laundromats. Jeff also worked for Citrus air conditioning, Bud Suarez Specialty Foods, and Kraft Foods.

His hobbies included hunting and fishing.

He is preceded in death by his father. Greenberry Harvey. Mother Helen Huddleston, brother Joseph Harvey and a son-in-law Gary Lambert.

He is survived by his wife Bea, his children Lynn Lambert, Pamela (Michael), and Jay Harvey, and two bonus daughters Amy (Tommy) Gainer, and Lynn Pepsidero. He has 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; Nicole Bolen (Aliyah and Mackenzie). Jessica Rhodes (Allea and Jackson). Lindsey Bassford (Baker and Nollie). Greenberry Harvey (Charlie, Ryker, and Juni. Ashely Morgan (Ryan and Taylor). Nichole (Addy and Aiden). Kylie (Ricky)Sowers (Mason and Cooper). Lexie (Travis) Rinnert. Brother Lawrence Harvey and 3 sisters-in-law.

There will be a gathering of family and friends at Hodges Family Funeral Home 301 Chapel Dade City on Thursday, February 16, 2023, from 9-10 am with the funeral starting at 10 am followed by burial at Florida National Cemetery.
