Jeanne LaVerne Beazley Wocking, age 79, resident of Wesley Chapel, Florida passed away peacefully on Monday, May 12, 2025 in Zephyrhills, Florida.
Born July 1, 1945 in West Palm Beach, Florida, she was the beloved daughter of Roy Armstrong Beazley Sr. and Kathleen McRae Vest Beazley. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Roy Armstrong Beazley Jr. and Richard Beazley, and her sister Lula Janet Beazley Day.
On August 24, 1967 in Kingsland, Georgia, Jeanne married John Arthur Wocking. Their union was later solemnized for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake City Utah Temple on November 19, 1970.
Jeanne devoted many years to the Hillsborough County School System, first as a bookkeeper at Hillsborough High School and later as a valued member of the Hillsborough County School Board office, from which she retired.
An avid crafter, Jeanne delighted in sewing, crocheting, needlework, and painting. She found great joy in tending her garden and sharing homemade meals and baked treats with friends and neighbors—often gathering together at her fence to share. Above all, she treasured time spent with family, her children and cherished grandchildren.
A faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Jeanne served in numerous stake and ward callings and was always among the first to lend a hand to anyone in need.
