79, a longtime resident of the Tampa bay area passed away Thursday, November 29, 2012 at the HPH Hospice, in Dade City Florida. The family will receive friends at a memorial celebration of her life on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Hodges Funeral Home, 36237 State Road 54 in Zephyrhills, Florida. A loving wife, mother, and grandmother Jean Allen Pritchard was born March 12, 1933 in Perry, Florida. She was raised by her maternal grandparents Fortis A. and Beryl Allen of Tampa, Fl. She was united in marriage to Doyle A. Pritchard on February 21, 1952 in Tampa, Florida. He preceded her in death on March 10, 1981. They were married for 29 years. She enjoyed movies, reading, and spending time with her family. Jean was formerly a receptionist, and later a secretary for Florida Mining and Materials of Tampa Florida. She retired there in 1997. She is survived by her children and their spouses; Jon Pritchard, Homosassa, FL; Adrian Pritchard, St. Petersburg, FL; Tom Pritchard, Homosassa FL; Steve Pritchard, Kathleen, FL; 10 loving grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
