Obituary
Jean B. Prater 77, of Dade City passed away Sunday, September 15, 2019. She was born August 6, 1942 in Tampa, FL to Nicholas & Ruth Williams Farkus and was a longtime area resident. She was a dedicated Homemaker and a member of the Pasadena Baptist Church.
Jean is survived by her husband of 59 years: Milton W. Prater; 3 children: Cathy Prater, Timothy & Rene` Prater, Scot & Corrina Prater; 1 brother: William D. Farkus; 4 sisters: Mary Andrews, Mabel Rodgers, Ruth Comis, Gladys Marie Sircusa; 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 1 son: Milton W. Prater Jr. and 1 great granddaughter.
Funeral Services will be held 3pm Friday, September 20, 2019 at the 301 Chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Williams Cemetery. The family will receive friends for viewing from 1-3pm Friday at the funeral home.
