It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jay Lloyd Reighard, who left this world on August 2, 2026, in Wesley Chapel, Florida, at the age of 73. Jay was born on July 23, 1953, in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania, to beloved parents, Mabel and Howard Reighard Jr. 

Jay was a dedicated and esteemed professional in the painting industry, having worked for several prominent companies including Agway, Baltimore Brushes, Bestt Leibco, Sherwin Williams, and Allpro. A proud alumnus of Phoenixville High School, Class of 1971, and Albright College, Class of 1975, he carried the values of hard work, integrity, and dedication throughout his life and career.

In a beautiful union that spanned 45 years, Jay married Maryann (Parry) Reighard on July 25, 1981, in Schuyler, New York. 

Jay's spirit was marked by his sincerity, quick wit, and great sense of humor. He was a respected colleague, mentor, and friend to many. Known for his generosity and loyalty, he made connections wherever he went, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew him. Jay was an ardent supporter of his favorite teams, the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies, and found joy in golfing and fishing.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Maryann; his beloved children, Danielle (Ben) Snider and Amanda (Sam) Garrett; grandchildren, Madelyn and Bella Snider, Nathan and Gianna Reighard, and August Garrett; his siblings, Robert Reighard and Betsey Lindsey; numerous nieces and nephews; and his cherished pet, Gracie. Jay was preceded in death by his son, Justin Reighard, and his sister, Barbara Reighard.

Jay will be deeply missed but forever cherished in the hearts of his family and friends.
