Melson, Janice, 81, of Zephyrhills, passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2020. She was born in Columbus Grove, Ohio on October 19, 1938 to Marvin and Anna Thornton. She loved to Crochet and do Arts and Crafts and enjoyed reading books. Jan also enjoyed researching the genealogy of her family. She is survived by children, Darwin Bicknell, Cyndi Bohle, James Bicknell, Bruce Bicknell, Brian Bicknell, Craig Bicknell, and Ann Pryor; 21 grandchildren; several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; and brother, David Thornton. She was predeceased by her parents; daughter, Julie Newland; 2 sons, Ron Bicknell; Doug Bicknell; and Daryl Bicknell; 2 brothers, Robert Thornton and James Thornton; 2 sisters, Sharon Thornton and Judy Rolston. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations are suggested to Gulfside Hospice.
