Janice Elaine Lauderdale, 70, entered into eternal rest on Friday, March 17th, 2023 in Dade City, FL. Janice was born on January 20, 1953, to parents Francis Gentry and Mary Knapp in Martinsville, IN. Janice graduated in 1973, and married the love of her life, Samuel Lauderdale, on July 9th, 1988. She worked at General Electric for many years before retiring as an assembler. Janice was quite the busy bee, but she always managed to find time for the activities she loved and enjoyed, she truly loved every opportunity she had to play a game of bingo, however, if anyone were to ask her what she enjoyed the most, she undoubtedly always say, she loved and cherished each and every moment she spent with her family. She is survived by her Loving Husband, Sam; Children, Kirk Lauderdale, Chris Lauderdale (Tammy), and Jessica Chilcoate (Jason); six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Janice is preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Mary; step-father, Perry Neal; siblings, Wilma Gentry, Larry Jean Gentry, Donald Wayne Gentry, and Rebecca Lynn Horton; son, Brian Lauderdale; and grandson, Cameron Dean Lauderdale. The family will receive friends for visitation and gathering on Friday, March 24th, 2023 from 6:00pm 8:00pm at Hodges Family Funeral Home in Zephyrhills, a Celebration of Life service will be on Saturday, March 25th, 2023 at Hodges Family Funeral Home in Zephyrhills.
