Janice E. Mills Bauer, passed away on November 6, 2019, after a short battle with ovarian cancer. Born December 20, 1947, in Waverly, New York, her family moved a couple times before settling in Tampa, Florida, where she attended Grade, Middle, and graduated from Chamberlain High School in 1965. In February 1969, she met the love of here life, Roger, who was stationed at MacDill Air Force Base. The two married October 22, 1969. When Roger was discharged in January 1970, they moved to Keeneyville, Illinois, where he grew up. Eventually they moved to Schaumburg, Illinois in 1973, where they raised their four children. She finally convinced him to move her back to Florida in 2004, where she enjoyed her palm trees and sunshine. She was our rock and will be missed so greatly by everyone whose life she ever touched. She had special nicknames for all her "Grandbabies", if you speak to one of them, ask, and they will tell you. Our lives from this point on will never be the same, but our thousands of memories will live on forever. She is survived by her husband, Roger Bauer; daughter, Denise Bauer DiLeo and husband Guy; son Ken Bauer and wife Ann Marie; son Rich Bauer and wife Natalie; son Tim Bauer and wife Melissa; two grandchildren who affectionately called her NaNa, Anthony and Alexandra DiLeo; eight grandchildren who lovingly called her Grammy, Ashley Thompson Velazquez (Edwin); Dominique Bauer; Gabrielle Bauer-Olson (Andy); Whitney Bauer; Elizabeth Bauer; Jacquelyn Bauer; Nathan and Liam Bauer; and two great-grandchildren, Lucas and Luna Velazquez. She is also survived by her mother, Mildred Mills; sister, Sandra Mills Stephens and husband Melvin; nieces, Sherrie Knighton and Tracey Stephens Murphy; and numerous great nieces and nephews. She is preceded by her father, Kenneth Mills; granddaughter, Rebecca DiLeo; and nieces, Cindy Knighton Ramsey and Tammy Knighton. Visitation
