Janet K. Zanni, age 84, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at Gulfside Hospice in Zephyrhills, Florida.
Janet was born on June 14, 1941, in Chicago, Illinois, to Stella Adams and George Nolan. She spent her early years in Illinois and later lived in Texas and Florida. In her later years, she resided at Blue Heron Senior Living in Wesley Chapel, Florida.
Janet dedicated many years of her life to the medical field, working as a Medical Assistant, X-ray Technician, and Phlebotomist in Orlando, Florida. She was known for her strong work ethic and compassionate care for others.
Janet enjoyed cooking, fishing, and gardening, and she was an avid lover of dogs. She found joy in simple pleasures and cherished time spent with family and loved ones.
She is survived by her three children: Thomas Munyon, Pamela (Kirk) Mylin, and Kevin (Neele) Zanni; nine grandchildren: Amanda (Shannon) Brass, Scott Mylin, Natalie Munyon, Tommy Munyon, Eric Munyon, Jonathan Munyon, Kendall Zanni, Piper Zanni, and Ryder Zanni; and one great-grandchild, Kenna Brass. She is also survived by her sister, Noreen (Nolan) Prine, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Janet was preceded in death by her loving husband, David Zanni.
Services will be held at a later date. Janet will be laid to rest at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, Illinois, alongside her beloved husband, David.
