YOUNG, Jane E., age 83, of Dade City, FL passed away in Tampa, FL on February 22, 2020. Jane was born on January 11, 1937 in Celina, OH to parents Paul Weitz & Velma (Beldon) Weitz.Jane loved God, her family, and the First Presbyterian Church in Dade City, FL. Everything she did was with God and her family in her heart. She put everyone before herself and didnt complain. Jane took care of her children as well as those in neighborhoods back in Fort Wayne, IN, Dade City, FL, and surrounding communities. Jane worked hard all her life and enjoyed telling her family of the fun and hardships of growing up on a farm, milking cows in below zero weather, gardening, driving the tractor, and hay bailing.Jane had numerous talents. She cooked fantastic meals, in fact, she was a professional cake baker and decorator. She was also a professional seamstress who could make almost anything you could possibly dream up - she made wedding gowns and accessories for many generations. She was a scout leader for boys and girls, kept wonderful flower and vegetable gardens, and was extremely creative in any type of craft she endeavored to do.Jane's family moved to Dade City, Florida on November 7, 1972, and she took her family to the First Presbyterian Church the following Sunday. She has been an active member all these years. She taught Sunday School, held Scout meetings, headed committees, was part of Women's Circle, went to Bible Study weekly, and so much more. Jane was also active in the American Legion for many years. To many, Jane was the "Pasco Theater Lady", second "mom", and great friend. To her family, she was everything: their Moon and Stars, their anchor, their foundation, the one they tried to model their lives after. She married Marvin R. Young on June 19, 1955, and gave him up to God on August 20, 1999. From this union came eight children, twelve grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. They all miss her terribly and thank God for lending her to them for these few short years and taking her for Eternity.Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin R. Young; mother, Velma Weitz; father, Paul Weitz; sister, Mary Bollenbacher, son-in-law, Tommy Jackson; grandson, Nicholas Young; and great-grandson, Malachi Dixon.Loving survivors include her brother, Donald Weitz; two sisters: Judy Horne (Dave) and Suzy Smalley (Bob); four sons: Joseph Young, Samuel Young, Dennis Young, and David Shackle; four daughters: Lois Jean Davis (Micheal), Linda Scott (Daniel), Janet Ford (David), and Marie Jackson; thirteen grandchildren: Charles Jackson (Allie), Tasha Smith (Daniel), Timothy Jackson, Steven Dixon, Ashley Davis (Kaitlyn), Elizabeth Ford, Justin Ford, Lisa Scott, Deanne Scott, Devon Shackle, Deborah Williams (Mark), Lindamarie Young, and Douglas Young; fifteen great-grandchildren: Alexis Jackson, Melissa Jackson, Alivia Jackson, Tristin Jackson, Daniel Smith, Noah Miller (Destiny), Lydia Dixon, Ruthanne Dixon, Micah Dixon, Caelen Whidden, Brandon Bordwell, Andrew Bordwell, Liam Akers, Colson Williams, and Isaac Williams; and two great-great-grandchildren: Valentine Miller and Noah Miller II.
