Jane Ellen Larsen Maris, age 78, of Dade City passed away Tuesday, March 7th, 2023 at home surrounded by her loving family. Jane was born in New York, New York, to parents Lt. Ward Hale Maris Jr. and Bernice Eleanor Maris (Cooper) who preceded her in death along with her husband Lt. David Larsen, son Adam Larsen, brother Keith Gregory and sister-in-law Linda Gregory. Survivors include; children, Eileen (Buffy) Larsen Altman, and Judith Ann Latassa Reed (Rick), Siblings Marianne "Mimi" Happ (Darryl), Kenneth Gregory (Betty), Alice Reno, and Jacci Wright, grandchildren Virginia Reed, Grace Reed, Jack Shane Larsen, Cody Williams, Amanda Harrell, Nicole Altman, Ryan Altman, nieces and nephews, January Shears "Jan" Deidre Happ, Michelle Happ, Aimee Gregory, Kristopher Gregory, Michelle Helms, Stephanie Helms, and Allen Pack, as well as eight great-grandchildren and her pets JoJo, Basket, Tipsy, Mr. Britches, and Jethro. She loved ALL her family, literature, tennis, crafts, writing poems, and books, books, books.....
