Jane Carolyne Whitworth

of Zephyrhills, Florida

Jane "Carol" Carolyne Whitworth, age 86, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 26, 2025. She was born to Rex and Ila Hughes in Liberty, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 36 years, Lonnie Whitworth (1992); two sons, Dale (2015) and Kenny (2016) Whitworth; two brothers, Eugene and Davy Hughes; and her sister, Ruth Fogle.

Jane is survived by two sons, Dean Whitworth (Penni) and Kevin Whitworth (Tonya); two daughter-in-laws, Heather Whitworth and Tammy Whitworth; two sisters, Barbara Baker (Darrell) and Brenda Venable (Mark); sister-in-laws, Nancy Whitworth and Barbara Hughes; 24 grandchildren; 39 great­grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren, along with many more loving family members.

Jane will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her deep love for family, and her gentle, caring spirit that touched everyone who knew her.

Her services will be held at Hodges Family Funeral Home, in Dade City, Florida on Saturday 1st. Visitation to begin at 9am and the service begins at 10 am inside the Hodges Chapel, burial will follow afterwards in Chapel Hill Gardens Cemetery.
