Best, Jamey Dickson, 62, of Zephyrhills, FL, passed away August 1, 2021. Born in Chicago, Illinois, and grew up in Dade City, Fl, where he graduated from Pasco High School in 1977. He was an avid football player, where he played as a right guard and linebacker, he was also an active FFA member of their local chapter. His hobbies included camping, fishing, riding horses, and participating in the Lacoochee 301 arena rodeo. He is preceded in death by his father, Heber "Dick" Best and his mother, Merlene Long Best. He is survived by his children, Mendy Shultz (Kirk), Heath Best and Chelsie Best Johnson, his grandchildren; Savanna and Zayden Best, and his siblings; Teresa Johnson (Joe), Allen Best, and Melissa Youmans (Timothy), and many loving nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held at Colt Creek State Park, 16000 FL 471 on August 7, 2021 at noon.
