Waddey, James H., 89, of Zephyrhills, FL, passed away on July 13, 2013, at his residence in Zephyrhills.Memorial services for Mr. Waddey will be held at 10:30 am on Sunday, July 21, 2013, at Hodges Family Funeral Home Hwy 54 Chapel in Zephyrhills. Visitation will be held from 10 am to the hour of service at the funeral home. Donations in his name may be made to Gulfside Regional Hospice, 37826 Skyridge Circle, Dade City, FL 33525.James was born March 4, 1924, in Balitmore Maryland, to James E. Waddey, Jr., and Theresa B. (Volz) Waddey.Mr. Waddey served in the US Navy as a Culinary Specialist, and retired after 26 years of service.He was a member and former Commander of American Legion, as well as Tampa Scottish Rites of Freemasonry to the 32nd degree, and the Shriners.Jim married Kazuko Yoshihara, and she survives.Other survivors include two sons James K. Waddey and Edward T. (Angela) Waddey; two granddaughters Jennifer Ellington and Annabelle Waddey; and one grandson Edward Waddey.
