James Lloyd (Jimmie) Sheltrown, 73, passed away on Sunday, April 30, 2023, in Dade City, Florida. He was born in Saulte St Marie, MI, on May 26, 1949, to overjoyed parents James Raymond and Ruth Eleanor Sheltrown. He married his beloved wife, Rose Marie Sheltrown, on March 5, 1993.

He served his country becoming a SP5 in the U.S. Army. He loved to spend time listening to Christian music and studying the word of God. James enjoyed spending as much time as he could with his friends and family.

James is survived by his wife Rose; his siblings, Judy Burger (Arnold) Caro, Michigan, Laurel Faughnan (Pastor John) Dade City, Florida, and Pastor June Sheltrown Dade City, Florida; his children, Jerald Brush ( Yvonne) New Port Richey, Florida, John Duvall ( Lorie) Denver, North Carolina, Dean Pardee ( Gretchen) Dade City, Florida, Christopher Spivey ( Amanda) Zephyrhills, Florida, and Jason Spivey ( Joanna) Zephyrhills, Florida; along with 22 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. He is preceded by his granddaughter Ashley Brush McKee.

His visitation will be from 8:30-9:15 am on Thursday, May 11, 2023, at Hodges Family Funeral Home, 11441 US Hwy 301, Dade City, FL 33525. A service will immediately follow at 9:15 am, afterward, there will be a procession to Florida National Cemetery for burial at 11:00 am.
