Jim Rush left this earth to join his beloved wife Eva on November 9, 2017. Jim was born on April 28, 1930 in Dover, Delaware, and departed this earth on November 9, 2017, at the age of 87, in Zephyrhills, Florida. He served his country in the United States Air Force and the Air Force Reserve. Jim was in the retail lumber business primarily as a store manager with Barton Lumber Company and Charles C. Meek Lumber from 1949 to 1992. He retired from the retail Lumber business and began working as a contractor building several houses and completing numerous decks and room additions. Jim and Eva left Springfield, Missouri in 1995 and settled into retirement in Zephyrhills, Florida. Jim and Eva enjoyed their retirement community life making numerous friends, playing golf, attending Tampa Bay Buccaneers games, and visiting relatives in their numerous trips back to Missouri, Illinois, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Kentucky. Jim is survived by two children Ed Rush of Tampa Bay, Florida, Jay Rush and his wife Alice of Springfield, Missouri, Donald Rush, his brother, from Marion, Arkansas, six grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren. A summer funeral service is planned with burial in Harrisburg, Arkansas.
