James Roger was welcomed Home to be with his Lord and Savior on June 5, 2013. He was born May 30, 1940 in Three Mile Bay , NY. He was a quiet man of Integrity who loaned his wisdom, talents and advice to family, friends and neighbors alike, whenever there was a need. A lifetime resident of Three Mile Bay, Ny until 2011, he spent many leisure summer days sailing or cruising on Lake Ontario and the St Lawrence River often sharing that passion with his beloved nephews, nieces and great nephews and nieces. Jim was a devoted member of the Three Mile Bay Baptist Church from his childhood. There he held the office of Deacon and served as the Church Treasurer for a number of years. Since 2005 he has spent his winters in Zephyrhills, Fl due to his declining health. However, he would return to his lake front cottage on Pillar Point in northern, NY each summer. He was a faithful attendee of the First Baptist Church of Zephyrhills where he enjoyed fellowship with his second church family. He is survived by his sisters, Georganna Petroske, Nancy (Lyle) Weaver; 3 nephews; 3 nieces; 4 great nieces and 7 great nephews along with several cousins. The services will be held later at the familys convenience with interment in TMB Cemetery in NY.
