Jim went to heaven on Thursday, March 12, 2015 in Florida Hospital, Zephyrhills, from complications stemming from pneumonia. Jim was born in Anamosa, Iowa on April 3, 1934 to Orland Arthur(OA) and Sarah Marie (Squee) Rife. He graduated from the University of Iowa as a pharmacist in 1959, and worked for over 25 years in the Jewelcor/Osco system throughout the Midwest. He moved to the Zephyrhills area in the early 80s and pursued a career in the ophthalmology field as a technician. He retired from this position just over five years ago. He loved more than anything to spend time with his wife of over 10 years, Martha (Stanley-Rife) and sharing with everyone his relationship with the Lord. Jims other loves were playing golf, enjoying the outdoors, camping, the beach with Martha, and ending his days with a bowl of moosetracks ice cream.Jim is survived by his wife Martha Stanley-Rife;Children Jim Marron (Annalee), Lisa Stevens (Jerry), Darci Fraley, Tiffany Vadnais (Charles) & Bethany Vellalos (Kawika); Grandchildren Tonja, Kristi (Gary), Karli (Daryl), Chelsea (Michael), Brennen, Samantha, Hannah, Kelsey Great Grandchildren Jessica, Dillon, Carter, Wyatt, Reese & Ethan.There will be no services at Jims request.
